2010 Holiday Markets at Old Beach Farmers Market

Posted by: admin

marketOld Beach Farmers Market

Holiday Markets November 20 & December 18, 2010

9:00am - 1:00pm

Old Beach Farmers Market is a quaint open air market that gathers in the parking lot of Croc's 19th Street Bistro, a Virginia Green facility, located in the corner of 19th Street and Cypress Avenue and an easy bike ride from any location within the resort.

In addition, Croc’s is within a very short distance from the Oceanfront (six blocks), Virginia Beach Convention Center and Virginia Beach Visitor Center (one block), and Rudee Inlet (14 blocks). For your convenience, there is also plenty of free parking across the street from Croc’s. Walking or riding a bike is encouraged including bringing a reusable shopping bag.

The Mission of the Old Beach Farmers Market

  • Establish a resort area farmers market for residents and visitors.
  • Encourage locavores and educate others about local, fresh and sustainable food.
  • Promote local family farms, watermen and Virginia wineries.
  • Connect chefs, restaurants and the public to local sources.
  • Revive an old-fashioned kind of shopping in the historic Old Beach.
  • Click here for a list of participating vendors.
