2010 Art in the North Gallery
Local artist, Priscilla Whitlock, will be showing her works in the North Gallery at King Family Vineyards until December 31st. Exhibit and Tasting Room open daily.
November 13th - Jefferson Vineyards
Harvest Feast
Our annual celebration of the bounty of this wonderful place, with local fruits, vegetables and meats prepared and served family style in the barrel rooms of the winery with appropriate selections of our wines. Family and friends celebrate the close of the harvest season and the beginning of the young wine’s elevage with frivolity and good cheer. Space is limited. $75 per person, all inclusive.

Annual Truffle Feast

Visit Michie Tavern in Charlottesville for Witches Weekends
Michie Tavern's General Store will hold their 3rd annual Hallows Eve Witches Weekends in October. Food and beverage tasting, games, costumes and storytelling culminate into "spirited" fun for the entire family. The event is held from 1 to 4 p.m. weekends from October 16th through the 30th.

16th Annual Spirit Walk
Location: Tours leave from the Maplewood Cemetery
Friday, October 22, 6pm-9:15pm; Saturday, October 23, 5pm-8:15pm; and Sunday, October 24, 4pm-7:15; tours leave every 15 minutes
Cost: $12 for adults, $8 for children under 13
The Spirit Walk is a guided history tour of historic Charlottesville, including popular haunts such as the County Courthouse and the Maplewood Cemetery. The fundraiser supports the work of the Society, and has a cast of local actors and musicians, many of whom also perform regularly in local theatre companies. The actors portray actual historical characters from Charlottesville, Albemarle County and environs, ranging from the early 18th Century to the mid-20th Century.
It is strongly suggested that tickets be purchased in advance. No refunds are available for ticket purchases.

The Apple Harvest Festival at Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville

Visit craft and food vendors, visit our wine tasting room, sip fresh apple cider, and browse our country store. Pumpkins, gourds, jams and jellies, apple butter, and other gourmet food items.
