What's on TV in August?

Ah, what to watch, what to watch? Here we are in the middle of August, the summer is winding down, and the trips to the beach are becoming few and far between. With the heat index being nearly 100 degrees and over during the last week or more, there is little left to do outside for fear of suffering the painful side effects of being sweaty and uncomfortable.

The Virginia Zoo spans 53 acres running adjacent to the Lafayette Park and is bordered by the Lafayette River. Both the City of Norfolk and the Virginia Zoological Society share in the responsibility of the zoo. It is over 110 years old and has been acquiring animals since 1900. Zoo residents have come from around the world and include more than 350 animals from 115 different species ranging from elephants and giraffes to skinks and tree frogs.
