2010 NAS Oceana Air Show: September 17 - 19, 2010
Friday, September 17
The 2010 Naval Air Station Oceana Air Show officially kicks off at 5:30 pm Friday evening, September 17th with the stunning Twilight Air Show. Don't miss dazzling sunset and nighttime aerial performances and blazing pyrotechnics. During the twilight portion of our show, you'll see performances by Matt Chapman and Dale "Snort" Snodgrass as well as a military tactical demonstration by the F/A-18 Hornet. When the sun sets, you'll be thrilled by heart-stopping night-time displays by Bill Leff, Otto the Helicopter, Bob Carlton's Jet Powered Sailplane, the Shockwave Jet Truck and the British
Red Devils jump team. Admission and parking are free and gates open at 5:00 pm. When the show ends, make sure you stop by the NAS Oceana Officer's Club to enjoy a refreshing beverage in this legendary watering hole.
Saturday and Sunday, September 18 & 19
Admission and parking are free at the NAS Oceana Air Show. Gates open to the public at 8:00 am and the flying starts at 10:00 am. The Blue Angels will start flying at 3:00 pm and finish at 4:00 pm. We would like to remind guests that you can expect heavy traffic in the early afternoon so please arrive early. There is plenty of fun and entertainment for the whole family throughout the day!
