Fabio's Chariot

Posted by admin in Busch Gardens , Amusement Parks

Remember when Apollo's Chariot launched back in '99? Busch Gardens Williamsburg hailed their new coaster with a celebrity appearance from the one and only Fabio. Unfortunately for Fabio things didn't go as planned and while riding the coaster he was met head on by a goose with bad timing.

Well if you missed the live performance, perhaps this animated short will fill your need to see the big guy take a bird to the nose.

Posted by admin in Williamsburg , Family Vacation , Busch Gardens , Amusement Parks

Weekends, Sept, 19-Oct. 26

This year, Busch Gardens celebrates 10 years of fears. Elevating the park's fright factor for this scary anniversary is Masquerage, a haunted Italian palace where "Cloakwalkers" chase guests deep into bone-chilling crypts, with no way out. Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream features more than 15 frightening scare zones, haunted attractions and Halloween-themed shows.

An Italian Adventure in Williamsburg

Posted by admin in Williamsburg , Music , Live Performance , Family Vacation , Busch Gardens , Amusement Parks

Take a trip to Italy - aka Busch Gardens' Italy in Williamsburg

No European adventure would be complete without a trip to Italy. Italy, Williamsburg-style.  Busch Gardens' quaint Italian village fuses world-class rides with romantic song and dance, master craftsmanship and authentic cuisine. Beautiful street-side statues, fountains and lush gardens enhance the Italian ambiance of this marketplace.

Brave visitors may tour the ruins of Mt. Vesuvius on Escape from Pompeii, a thrilling water ride with special effects. DaVinci's Garden of Inventions features rides for adults and children alike while entertaining performers fill the air with the wonderful music of Italy. Summer nights, however, belong to the "Starlight Orchestra." The sounds of Big Band music take center stage under the evening stars at Il Teatro di San Marco to salute the sounds of swing.
