Town Center "First Fridays ArtWalk" in Virginia Beach

The first Friday of each month, through October, from 5 to 8 p.m., residents and visitors can stroll around the sidewalks of Town Center enjoying the fine wares of some of Hampton Roads best local artists, as well as painting demonstrations by Town Center's own Jones Family and entertainment on both the Fountain & Sandler Plazas.

Explore the works of over 75 artists and craftsmen during Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation's 35th annual art and craft festival, Artisans in the Park. This event is free and open to the public.

A wide array of art forms comprise this outdoor art and craft festival including pottery, metal and glass work, photography, distinctive jewelry, paintings and sculptures, all of original design with the artists on site. There are artisans who throw pots, turn wood, paint on feathers, create glass sculptures, forge metal, and photograph beautiful landscapes, including beach and historic settings in Hampton Roads.
