Christmas Town in Williamsburg: A Busch Gardens Celebration

christmastownBGChristmas Town is open now at Busch Gardens, Friday through Sunday.  The last day of Christmas Town will be Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas Town will also be open Monday, December 20 through Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas Town will be closed on Christmas Day.

The park will be open for Christmas Town from 3 pm through 10 pm on most days. However, on Sundays through December 12, 2010 and on Christmas Eve, the park will close at 9 pm instead of 10 pm.

Busch Gardens and Water Country USA officials ended months of speculation with a host of announcements that add up to the largest capital investment in the parks' combined histories. The two-year expansion plan offers something for everyone in the family, including new rides, a re-envisioned village theme and a much-requested expansion to one of Busch Gardens' newest events.

In Williamsburg, October means Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

In Williamsburg, October means HOWL-O-SCREAM! The Busch Gardens park hours are 10 AM to 10 PM Fridays and Sundays, 10 AM to 11 PM Saturdays in October. Howl-O-Scream attractions begin at 6:00 PM on each day. Just as it's getting dark! Goodbye light, hello night! Night, have you brought terror? Yes? August 7-8,  - David Cook is an American rock singer and songwriter who rose to fame after winning the seventh season of the reality television show American Idol. Prior to Idol he released an album entitled Analog Heart, and his post-Idol self-titled album was released on November 18, 2008 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

August 14, 15 - Grand Funk Railroad is an American rock band that was highly popular during the 1970s. Grand Funk Railroad sold more than 25 million records, toured constantly, packed arenas worldwide, and received four RIAA gold albums during 1970—the most for any American group that year.

As the Budget Travel Readers Choice poll winner of "Best Family Destination," the Williamsburg area was featured today on the TODAY Show this Thursday morning. Budget Travel's Editor in Chief, Nina Wildorf, spoke about the Williamsburg area and specifically mentioned the affordability of the area's attractions, citing Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. From June 21 - Aug. 31, Virginia residents can get a free child's admission to Busch Gardens-a $51.95 value-with the purchase of an adult single-day admission ticket. This offer is available only online by visiting buschgardens.com/va.
"We're making summer fun more affordable for families," said Park President John Reilly. "This kid's free offer represents a significant savings for families with young children."

Busch Gardens has more than 50 KIDsiderate rides and attractions, including Sesame Street Forest of Fun and the Land of the Dragons. Families also can't miss the all-new nighttime spectacular IllumiNights: A Busch Gardens Encore. The park comes to life during this nighttime summer celebration that combines the best live performances, music, special effects and fireworks.
