What's Going on at Nauticus this November?
New at Nauticus
With the opening of some of the battleship's interior spaces, Nauticus has some exciting new offerings for battleship visitors. A six minute dramatic film, Forward for Freedom, shown inside Nauticus' new introductory theater, brings the Wisconsin to life through the stories and commentary of those who served aboard her. Visitors may also access the Wisconsin Wardroom and Officer's Quarters as well as a new exhibit located at the entrance to the Wardroom, For All Those in Uniform Who Have Served. This changing exhibit space pays tribute to the armed forces, with an initial focus on Senator John W. Warner, who was instrumental in bringing the battleship Wisconsin to Norfolk. Battleship Wisconsin Topside Tours
Explore previously sealed off areas of the battleship on this fascinating guided tour. Includes the administration area, radio room, main deck enlisted berthing, captain's cabin and sleeping quarters, flag bridge and combat engagement center. Tours are offered Tuesday - Saturday at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tours are $28.95, which includes Nauticus admission. Ages 10 and up. This tour involves climbing up to 4 decks and entering small spaces. Participants must be physically fit and wear comfortable walking shoes.

December 9-10, 2010 - 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Downtown Hampton on Ice! will operate November 24, 2010, through March 6, 2011, at the Virginia Air & Space Center. The rink will provide over 5,000 square feet of icy surface for public skating, special events, themed activities and more! Skating is $6 per person, per session. Visitors are welcome to bring their own skates or rent skates for only $2 more.
