Oktoberfest, A Busch Gardens Classic

For nearly 200 years, people have been visiting Munich, Germany to participate in the world's largest beer festival, better known as Oktoberfest.  Oktoberfest is a 16-day extravaganza that occurs annually in the Bavarian capital and is enjoyed in one form or another in cities and towns around the world during late September and early October.

The Yorktown Wine Festival 2008 will be held on October 4th at the Historic Yorktown, Riverfront area and will showcase some of Virginia's best wineries. 

Participating Virginia Wineries include:  Athea, Belle Mount, Bright Meadows, Cooper, Davis Field, First Colony, Grayhaven, James River Cellars, Keswick, Mattaponi, New Kent, Rebec, Savoy Lee, Spring Creek, Vault Fields, Vintner's Cellar of Yorktown, White Fences, and our own Williamsburg Winery. 

2008 Neptune Festival celebrates grand finale "Boardwalk Weekend" Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th

A boisterous and beloved send-off to summer, the Neptune Festival offers something for everyone.  It has been ranked among the top 10 festivals in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Association, and it is one of the American Bus Association's top 100 festivals in the country.  It remains the city's largest event and one of the most successful festivals on the East Coast.

Celebrating it's 35th year this year, the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival has transformed the resort city of Virginia Beach into a colorful and festive tapestry of special events and family memories.
