Groundhog Night at the Virginia Living Museum

One way or the other, we're going to celebrate with a special evening filled with winter and spring activities, including a visit from the Museum's whistle pig - a.k.a. the groundhog. Enjoy treats, crafts, children's activities, face painting with Kolonial Klowns, delightful planetarium programs and discover more about the tradition of the groundhog.

Held in the Wason Education Center.

MLK Service Weekend

Join us on MLK weekend for a few days of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will kick off the weekend on Fri, 14 Jan preparing meals for Backpack For Kids at the Newport News Foodbank. On Sat the 15th, we will shift focus to the Hampton National Cemetary and collect over 6,000 wreaths along with other veterans in the area. The wreaths were laid last month in honor of our veterans who have sacrificed so much.
