I love Five Forks, my wife and I both do. It is the perfect example of a Williamsburg dining jewel. It's off the beaten "Richmond Rd. path" and frequented regularly by locals. My wife and I "discovered" Five Forks Cafe shortly after moving to Williamsburg last year. Our neighbors invited us to breakfast and boasted of a diner that has the BEST biscuits and sausage gravy in Virginia. They were not kidding - the biscuits are crisp and light and made fresh every day, and covered in a peppery, creamy, sausage gravy. I always splurge and get the hash browns with onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. Regardless, if you come for breakfast, lunch or dinner, all of the food is 100% southern comfort food and 100% delicious. My favorite is the country fried chicken with sausage gravy and my wife loves the fried Catfish, greens, black eyed peas and cornbread. Click here to see the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
