The Harlem Globetrotters, who have contributed more innovations to the game of basketball than any other team in history, have implemented the first-ever 4-point shot as part of all of its games on the team's 2011 "4 Times the Fun" North American tour.

This game-changing innovation will be on display when the Globetrotters take on the Washington Generals at the Richmond Coliseum.

A strong start by the Virginia Commonwealth University men's basketball team and the heated race that is the Colonial Athletic Association has led to a near sell-out for the Dec. 4th meeting between the Rams and William & Mary.

With a limited number of tickets available for the conference opener, the VCU Ticket Office has released a brand new Black & Gold package!

The Flying Squirrels have unveiled two comic-themed images of Nutzy which will be featured across all of the club's marketing and branding for the 2011 season.

"Nutzy has been one of the most identifiable members of the Flying Squirrels organization," said Vice President & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "From the moment we introduced him in February, he was an instant hit with adults and kids alike. As we prepare for our second season in Richmond, we want to build Nutzy's celebrity status and making him the centerpiece of our branding will help accomplish that."
