William & Mary Homecoming 2008

Posted by: admin

w-m-logo.gifWilliam & Mary Homecoming 2008 starts on Thursday, October 23, 2008 and runs through Sunday,  October 26, 2008.

The FRIDAY NIGHT FEST is back by popular demand and will take place at the Alumni House on Friday evening, Oct. 24. The FEST makes it easy to meet up with all of your friends in a family-friendly setting complete with an all-alumni band, the DIMESLOTS, children's activities and a variety of pay-as-you-go light dinner options. No registration is needed for this free event!

Calling all 3s and 8s! If this is a BIG REUNION YEAR for you (Classes of 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978,1983, 1988, 1993, 1998) Saturday night's activities will kick off with reunion cocktail parties at the newly renovated Williamsburg Lodge, where each class will have its own private event area to catch up with each other and hang out.

Then, ALL ALUMNI are invited to attend the SATURDAY NIGHT BASH which will take place in the Virginia Room at the Lodge. The BASH is open to ALL CLASSES! Help spread the word to all of your William and Mary friends -- the BASH is the place to be on Saturday night!

Children's Carnival: Let your children enjoy carnival games, clowns and prizes before heading to lunch. Enjoy the bounce house, or see if your child will be the next William and Mary quarterback as they attempt the quarterback challenge. There are games for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Postgame Tailgate: Need a place to rehash the game. Come to the alumni house front circle for beer and light snacks. Enjoy a drink before heading to the All-Alumni SATURDAY NIGHT BASH.

If you're not an alumnus/alumna and would like to keep celebrating. Go over to the Green Leafe Cafe on Scotland Street. It's just across from the stadium and it's a great place to be on game day for both W&M grads and non-alum alike.
