 American Red Cross is hosting a night of food, fun, dancing in Williamsburg, Va. The benefit is Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 6 pm to 10 pm at Legacy Hall in New Town, Williamsburg, Va. Music will be performed by Slapwater and the Outback Steakhouse in Williamsburg will be catering the event. According to the band's website, "Slapwater, has been performing on the East Coast for years and its name has been synonymous with good taste and great entertainment." The benefit is sponsored by Anheuser-Busch, Old Point National Bank, Williamsburg Financial Group, Tysinger Mercedes-Benz, State Farm Insurance, First Market Bank, Outback Steakhouse, Pepsi Bottling Group, and the Junior Woman's Club of Williamsburg. Help support the Local Chapter of the American Red Cross by attending this event. Tickets are available for $40/person or $75/couple. If you're looking for a cocktail or glass of wine before or after the benefit, walk on over to Center Street Grill. It's about a half block from Legacy Hall and in addition to being one of the nicest Williamsburg restaurants, Center Street has an excellent bar with an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. |
