Buon Amici, if you haven't heard, won the Virginia Gazette's "Best of Williamsburg" award twice in a row.  If there's one thing I can say about Williamsburg, it's that the competition for best restaurant is stiff and constantly changing, and that winning two years in a row can be no fluke. Buon Amici is an excellent restaurant. It has a wide variety of exquisite, well-presented, genuinely Italian entrees and pizzas.

Of course, Buon Amici, which is Italian for "good friends," is also a great place to hang out. Tuesday through Friday, from 4 to 6 PM, is happy hour, during which time there are a wide variety of drink specials, and the appetizers are half off. This happy hour make Buon Amici one of the best places I know of to relax after work. Stop by to unwind, and wash away your stress with their fine selection of Italian wines and their delicious appetizers.

Also, you may wish to check out their website for special events; they have an outdoor patio, and often one can spend an evening there listening to live Jazz.
