This tuneful, offbeat Tony Award-winning musical is a bonafide crowd pleaser that's chock-full of overachievers' angst, bizarre and multi-syllabic words, romance and cliff hanging suspense! The tension is palpable, the excitement is mounting and the heady scent of competition is in the air as six deliciously geeky, philologically industrious young students from across the county take part in what is undoubtedly one of the greatest events of their lives - The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. "Can you spell i-r-r-e-s-i-s-t-i-b-l-e? A riotously funny and entirely adorable new musical"
- New York Times
