A Christmas Parade on the Water On December 6th, come and watch a unique kind of parade this year - a parade on the water. Area boaters will decorate themselves in the holiday spirit as they parade down the York River. The parade events begin at 6 PM at Yorktown Beach. Boaters will be competing for a Best of Show. While there you can enjoy hot cider and musical performances around a beach bonfire while awaiting the magnificent parade of lights.
