Christmas Town in Williamsburg: A Busch Gardens Celebration

Posted by: admin

christmastownBGChristmas Town is open now at Busch Gardens, Friday through Sunday.  The last day of Christmas Town will be Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas Town will also be open Monday, December 20 through Friday, December 31, 2010. Christmas Town will be closed on Christmas Day.

The park will be open for Christmas Town from 3 pm through 10 pm on most days. However, on Sundays through December 12, 2010 and on Christmas Eve, the park will close at 9 pm instead of 10 pm.

Start a new shopping tradition this year with a visit to Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration.

From stocking stuffers to one- of-a-kind handmade creations, Christmas Town has dozens of stores and gift shops filled with items sure to satisfy everyone's wish list. Busch Gardens can even carry the bags through its package pickup service so guests can enjoy a hot beverage while exploring all that Christmas Town offers.

England's Garden Gate outdoor market features unique Christmas decorations, poinsettias and Christmas flags along side made-to-order Christmas wreaths. And Ireland's Toys o' the Leprechaun is overflowing with stocking stuffers, animated plush, creative toys, interactive games and everyone's favorite Sesame Street characters. Emerald Isle is the place for Irish scarves, sweaters and hats, fine jewelry, heirloom- quality Waterford crystal ornaments and crystal.

France's La Belle Maison has all the hottest trends in the surf and skate industry, including the latest apparel from Billabong and Roxy. And don't forget about the Oyster's Secret where shoppers can find the perfect fine gold, silver and pearl jewelry. Over in New France visitors can hand paint custom pottery for the whole family or take an old- time photo with traditional Christmas outfits. Bitter Root is just a few doors down and showcases creative gift ideas such as monogrammed scarves and bags, leather items and coffee table books.

Germany offers ornaments, clocks, steins and serves as a backdrop for Mistletoe Marketplace, a traditional outdoor German market featuring handmade gifts and snacks. Das Festhaus features hand-crafted Capodimonte floral sculptures, hand carved wooden figurines and angels can be found at Das Festhaus Mugs.
