concertballetofVAThink you have to travel to downtown Richmond to see a professional dance performance? Think again! The Concert Ballet of Virginia works to bring dance to the public by providing affordable, full-scale productions in convenient locations throughout the state of Virginia. Since their inception in 1976, when 30 dancers left their positions with the Richmond Ballet, the Concert Ballet of Virginia has continued to widen the visibility of dance as well as provide outlets for those who wish to be involved in the performing arts.

The Concert Ballet's version of The Nutcracker will be performed at various locations in the Central Virginia area throughout the Holiday season. The Ballet lasts about two hours, including intermission, and is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

Check out the Concert Ballet of Virginia's beautiful rendition of this enchanting holiday favorite at one of these convenient locations:

  • Richmond: Monacan High School, December 11th to December 13th
  • Mechanicsville: Atlee High School, December 18th to December 20th
