Dolphin Watching in Virginia Beach

Posted by: Michelle

Tagged in: Untagged

dolphin.jpgDid you know that the Chesapeake Bay is often referred to as a "Dolphin Disneyland"? That's because there are tons of Dolphins and Dolphin families that congregate and play in these waters.

Summer is right around the corner so why not make a sunset dolphin watching tour one of the highlights of your vacation this year!  Check out the Dockside Seafood & Fishing Center sunset cruises.  The cruises last approx. an hour and a half and depart nightly at 7:00 pm beginning Memorial Day.

The cruises offer a little something for everyone. You start by heading down the coast toward historic Cape Henry (through the very waters that the English Settlers traveled before landing in 1607). Some of the other sights that you'll enjoy on your cruise are seeing the many Navy warships and commercial tankers entering or departing the bay and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, one of the seven wonders of the world.

Bring your camera and come along for a spectacular cruise. You won't be disappointed. You'll love this experience - it's a beautiful sight to see.

Insider's Tip: Children under 3 are free on all of their trips.

Dockside Seafood & Fishing Center, 3311 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA (757) 481-4545
