March 13, 2010

Every six weeks American Pride Automotive holds Family Service Day for single-parent families who need a little extra help with car repair or vehicle maintenance. The goal is to give a little something back, and even teach people a little about what goes on under the hood. Simple understanding of how cars work and some regular, simple maintenance can often prevent expensive repairs down the road.

They check fluids, hoses, belts, tires, brakes and more, and do what they can to help families who can't afford these services. They provide free oil changes and tire rotation, and plenty of advice and suggestions to keep cars running smoothly in the future.

Family Service Day will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on March 13 at the Yorktown location, conveniently located at 1939 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, Virginia. Click here for directions.

If you or someone you know is a single parent and needs help with their car or truck, have them call (757) 595-2755 to schedule an appointment for that day or schedule an appointment online, here.

American Pride Automotive is a family-owned and operated full service auto repair shop centrally located on George Washington Memorial Highway near the conjunctions of York County, Poquoson, Hampton, and Newport News, Virginia. Their second location is at the intersection of Richmond and Airport roads in Williamsburg. American Pride offers something different in the world of automotive care - a tradition of excellence and customer satisfaction.

What's the difference between American Pride and other auto repair shops??? There are a number of differences - but their service managers and technicians are what make the biggest difference by ensuring that customers clearly understand what's being done to their car and why. It's all in the approach - thorough communication and only recommending the service you need for your vehicle has established a level of trust that has been the foundation of their success.
