It's almost Easter. I don't know where, or if, you go to church, but I'd like to make a few suggestions to help the after church part of your Easter in Virginia Beach.
My first suggestion is simple: rejoice! Easter is a joyful day. You should do something to celebrate. It's no accident that Easter is during spring, which is the most joyful, most hopeful, and most beautiful time of the year. I recommend that you go outside. You might even go so far as to run through the grass. Stop and smell some flowers.
My second suggestion: give thanks. Even if you're not religious, springtime still carries an important message: the winter is over. Life returns to the Earth, to the fields and the forests. To enjoy Easter properly, you have to be grateful for the beauty of the occasion, for the sun and the birds.
My third suggestion: do something to celebrate. Here's where I'll actually give some specific advice. Easter is best enjoyed with family and friends. Rejoicing and giving thanks both come more naturally to us when we're surrounded by people we love. As for specific plans, I recommend this: go for a long walk, or trip to a park, or on some sort of laid-back outdoor excursion in the afternoon, with the whole family, and eat dinner together, probably somewhere nice, as a family. I recommend One Fish-Two Fish for your thankful and rejoicing family get together.
Happy Easter!
