Eggceptional Chocolatey Fun in Williamsburg
Contributed by Mary Griffith
Easter is just a hop, skip and a jump away--- one of the biggest chocolate holidays of the year! Are you ready yet? Do you remember special candies from your childhood which bring back special Easter memories? Was it one of the first times you tried white chocolate (if we can really call it that)?
Well I am cooking up my own spring time chocolate fun! I have been working so hard to create some wonderful chocolate Easter surprises and would love to share them with you! Send me an email, and I'll forward some information to you. How about some great chocolate eggs in cute springy boxes? The eggs have either a coconut, peanut butter, or chocolate crème center and then are either dipped in milk or dark chocolate! Not only that, but they come in three sizes-1/4 lb, ½ lb, and 1 lb eggs. These are great to slice up to serve for your holiday function or family gathering; to give as a gift to a family to share, or to just grab in your hand and start savoring.
What about some large solid chocolate bunnies in either milk or dark chocolate; bunny lollipops, pretzel rods or chocolate dipped oreos? Anything tickle your chocolate fancy yet?
Chocolate event: Children's Chocolate Camp with a Spring/Easter theme When: Sunday, March 28, 2010 Time: 1- 3 pm Place: Powhatan Secondary Clubhouse Who: Children ages 5-13 years old
We'll have lots of fun with some chocolate activities, hands-on work, and some special non-chocolate guests! The Teeny Tiny Farm is going to bring in some precious little ducklings, chicks, a baby goat and some bunnies!
What afternoon could be more fun and get you ready for spring!!!
