I love old music, especially Jazz. The Big Band, and the swing rhythms and the trumpet solos really do it for me, but there will always be a special place in my heart for Jazz led by a single vocalist. Going out on a Saturday night to hear a real live performance of "Misty," or "Caravan," is an experience that just can't be beat. Make plans next Saturday for dinner and live music at Buon Amici in New Town. Anna James is singing the standards on the patio. It will be like paradise from an old movie. Imagining it, I half expect to see Humphrey Bogart, hat on his jacket and jacket slung over his shoulder. In short, I'm excited. Come and unwind throughout the busy Holiday. Enjoy dinner, a glass of wine (or two) and live Jazz Saturdays on the patio at Buon Amici in New Town from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Hope to see you there!
