Forever Plaid: The #1 Off-Broadway Hit Comes to Newport News
Saturday, 28 August 2010 11:18

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, FOREVER PLAID has been the #1 Off-Broadway show for two decades, generating over $300M in ticket sales.

In Barter Theatre’s (State Theatre of Virginia) production of this heavenly hit musical, the four members of an all-male singing group get a second chance to fulfill their dream and perform the concert they never got to in life. Singing in delicious four-part harmony, the boys will serenade you with some of the 1950’s greatest hits such as “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Chain Gang,” “Heart and Soul” and “Love Is a Many Splendored Thing.”

FOREVER PLAID has won worldwide acclaim from audiences of every demographic. Kids and their parents, grandparents and their great-grandparents have been smiling at this quirky off-beat tribute to the love of music, entertainment and the power of following your dream.
