Family Fun Day in Richmond! Halloween at the Museum of the ConfederacySaturday, October 23, 2010 How did people in the 19th Century celebrate the fall season? What is the story behind that glowing Jack-O-Lantern? Come find out the answers to these and other questions at the Museum's Family Fun Day! Play traditional Victorian party games, try your hand at fun crafts, and hear the stories that make this mystical and magical season so much fun!
Come in your spooky or spunky, historical or comical costumes! A special admission price of $5 applies to participating guests 5 and up. Admission includes the Museum galleries and a special goodie bag! The program will take place from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, October 23, 2010. (Participating guests under 5 are free of charge. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. White House Tour admission is separate).
The Museum of the Confederacy is a private, nonprofit educational institution. The Museum and White House are located in downtown Richmond in the historic Court End neighborhood. Free parking is available in the MCV/VCU Hospitals Visitor/Patient parking deck adjacent to the Museum.
