Like it or not, holiday TV specials are as much of a tradition as eggnog and mistletoe. If classics like"A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" aren't enough to ignite your holiday spirit, then check out some of the new programs airing throughout the season:- Cranberry Christmas - Barry Manilow debuts two original songs for this new animated special. Dec. 8.
- Little Spirit: Christmas in New York - Danny DeVito and Lucy Liu lend their voices to this new animated special that blends the look of traditional painting with 3D technology. Dec. 10.
- Frosty Returns - The snowman returns for more adventures in this newer animated musical special. Dec. 12.
- A Miser Brothers' Christmas - In this new animated special, Mickey Rooney returns as the voice of Santa. Dec. 13.
- The Most Wonderful Time of the Year - Henry Winkler stars in this new movie about love blooming during a snowed-in holiday. Dec. 13.
- Snow 2 Brain Freeze - Tom Cavanaugh reprises his role as Nick Snowden (aka Santa) in this new movie. This time, he suffers amnesia before his big day of delivering presents. Dec. 14.
- I Want a Dog for Christmas Charlie Brown - In this newer Peanuts animated special, Rerun wants a dog. Dec. 15.
- A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa - In this new Muppet special, Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo and the gang try to get misplaced letters to Santa. Dec. 17.
- Christmas in Wonderland - Patrick Swayze plays a dad facing a bleak holiday with his children when they discover a bag of money at the mall. Dec. 20.
- Our First Christmas - Two families fight over what to do for the holidays. Dec. 20.
