About Anthony Kearns

Internationally acclaimed tenor Anthony Kearns is well known all over the world as one of The Irish Tenors. He was born in Kiltealy, Ireland, in 1971, and selected as an original member of the famous Irish Tenors in 1998, at age 27. His vocal range has contributed significantly to the sound and popularity of the group.

It is in his solo performances, however, that one experiences the unique talent of this gifted young man. He is in complete command of his craft and delivers performances that thrill and delight his audiences. On March 28, 2010 he will perform a medley of beautifully rendered opera and classical pieces, traditional Irish favorites, internationally recognized standards, and golden classics. He has the ability to make every song his own, and is simply referred to by his fans as "The Voice."

Critics have compared him to the great John McCormack, and referred to him as the "Tenor of Our Times." He has also been named "Ireland's Best Living Tenor." With The Irish Tenors, he has appeared on PBS, and at many international venues including Wolf Trap, Madison Square Garden, Boston's Fleet Pavilion, and the Hollywood Bowl. He has performed his solo concerts all over the world and continues to thrill audiences everywhere he goes!
