History comes alive - Colonial Williamsburg is for Kids

Colonial_Williamsburg

Your kids spend all year getting book smarts at school. But the summer can be a good time to continue to teach them during your travels.  Those kids that are lucky enough to live in and around the area know how much fun it is to "travel through time" in Williamsburg where history truly comes alive.

See every key player in the 1700's and watch them act the part.  History at Colonial Williamsburg means actually being a part of it.  It is truly interactive entertainment.    You'll meet tradespeople, members of royalty, plantation owners, slaves, red coats, the militia, farmers, colonial children, and more.

You can even dress up and be a part of the "history".  You can purchase Colonial Williamsburg tickets and rent children's costumes daily in the Costume Rental Center.  Girls can get colonial dresses, boys get hunting shirts and rucksacks outfits.  It's a fun way to learn and teach them about Colonial American life before there was an actual America.
