This year, looking for holiday lights in Williamsburg, I didn't see anything too flashy. There are a few tasteful, modest light displays, and a lot of truly lovely wreaths, but I didn't see anyone who had gone all out with a 15-foot inflatable Rudolf or Wise Men of flashing neon blue. I can't say I'm terribly disappointed.
This year, the best place to see Christmas decorations in Williamsburg is downtown, on Duke of Gloucester Street. These decorations are a little bit different than holiday lights - they're best viewed during the day, and on foot, rather than from a car at night, but they are truly beautiful, and the snow adds a lot to them.
While you're downtown, you ought to at least drive by the fire department. They've cooked up a pretty neat Crèche Scene, featuring a mini fire truck. Dress warm, and drive safe!
