Holidays in Historic Hanover Open House at St. John's Church

st.johnschurch_richmondSaturday, December 5th 9 AM - 10 AM

St. John's Church has partnered with the following Road to Revolution sites: Historic Polegreen Church, Hanover Tavern, Hanover Courthouse, and Scotchtown. Events are taking place December 4-6 at these venues; please call each site for schedules.

Visit St. John's Church, a National Historic Landmark in recognition of being the original location of Patrick Henry's immortal "Give me liberty or give me death!" speech.

Enjoy a guided tour for $5.00 and free eggnog in the Visitor Center!

St. John's Church, which is the oldest in Richmond, was built in 1741, when William Byrd II donated the land and building materials. This church is a well-preserved and well-presented part of our nation's history, and if you looking for a fun visit and to enjoy a great tour, it's well worth a visit!
