Contributed by CW Burke In Williamsburg, October means HOWL-O-SCREAM! The Busch Gardens park hours are 10 AM to 10 PM Fridays and Sundays, 10 AM to 11 PM Saturdays in October. Howl-O-Scream attractions begin at 6:00 PM on each day. Just as it's getting dark! Goodbye light, hello night! Night, have you brought terror? Yes? Great! There are six mazes/haunted houses, seven scare zones, and six shows. Each of these 19 attractions are rated on a scale of one ("fun for everyone") to five ("not one under 17, please") pumpkins. But be warned, while the scale runs from one to five, almost all of the attractions are in the four-to-five pumpkin range. That's scary stuff, you guys! As if all these attractions aren't enough, there are also six available areas to take pictures with this year's characters. There are scares for everyone, the themed mazes and scare zones featuring werewolves, ghosts, unruly townspeople, witches, mummies, and monsters. However you like your scares (I prefer ghost scares, with mummy scares a close second), Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens promises to be a spooky and scary fun time for everyone!
