PEANUTS 60th Anniversary Party at Kings DominionAugust 7th & 8th
Be a part of history as Kings Dominion celebrates PEANUTS with Snoopy, our favorite blockhead Charlie Brown, Lucy, Sally and Linus with their 60th birthday bash. In order to commemorate these timeless characters Kings Dominion will host an array of special events which include: Snoopy Art- A chance for the youngsters to showcase their skills in this fun filled coloring contest. From 11am-4pm, in the Kidzville Gazebo, if you are under 48 inches tall then don't miss your opportunity to go down as the "Picasso of the Park." Birthday Card- Show the Gang how much you really care and sign their birthday card. Stop by the Grande Bandstand between the hours of 4pm and 6pm and place your best John Hancock on the card! PEANUTS' Rockin Party- Sing Happy Birthday to the loveable gang and enjoy Snoopy's favorite snack, chocolate chip cookies, free while supplies last at 5pm. Come bust a move at the PEANUTS' Rockin Dance Party. Help Snoopy, Help His Furry Friends-During the Anniversary the Henrico Humane Society and Brew Beagles Inc will be our special guests of honor in the park. During their visit they will be educating guests about animals in our communities as well as animal care tips. Bring a donation to the park for a chance to take advantage of a special discounted ticket admission. Items to be donated include: used/new wire crates (collapsible preferred), Toys for puppies, dog beds, collars (medium to large), leashes, milk bone treats, food donations are always helpful (Pedigree in the yellow bag to have a consistent diet for the dogs is preferred), chew toys for adult doggies (great for the ones residing in a kennel), rope toys, Kongs, and peanut butter to administer meds and to stuff Kong's at the kennels. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. $2 from every ticket purchased with a donated item will be donated to these great animal rescue groups! Breakfast with the Characters - Kick off your visit to Kings Dominion with a great breakfast featuring special surprise visits from some of your favorite characters! All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast includes Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits, French Toast Sticks, Fresh Fruit, Orange Juice and Coffee served from 10:20 - 11:30am at the Country Kitchen.
