Find out what kind of jobs people worked, the tools they used, and what a typical day was like for workers of all ages.

Learn the history of Labor Day, the holiday we celebrate every first Monday in September. As with all First Saturday programs, admission will be FREE to both the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum and Lightship Portsmouth!
