Well known for down-home-style cooking and a menu dotted with Virginia specialties, the Surrey House Restaurant is a gem just waiting to be visited. Crispy fried chicken, salty ham from the nearby Edwards company and sweet peanut raisin pie are a few examples of the local cuisine served here.
