March Madness in Williamsburg - Where's the best place to watch the games?

WHERE TO CATCH MARCH MADNESS IN WILLIAMSBURG

Contributed by CW Burke

march-madnessMarch is coming, and with it comes March Madness. March Madness can be experienced singularly, but everyone knows it's best to celebrate March Madness with other people, the engage with others similarly affected by the Madness.

If you're looking for somewhere in Williamsburg to watch the games, you can stop looking because I have the answer! The Green Leafe Downtown and New Town and JM Randalls will both have big TVs turned to the games and enthusiastic, friendly fellow customers turned towards those TVs, ready to cheer and yell (at volumes respectable to the other not-interested-in-the-games customers) and be merry in the truest and best spirit of March Madness.

If all the talk of basketball during the month of March inspires you, your children, your relatives, or someone you know to learn a little more about basketball or more about sports in general and Virginia sports in particular, then I whole-heartedly recommend a visit to the historic Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in Portsmouth. There is no better place in the state or the country to explore the impressive history of Virginia sportsmen and women. Take special notes about the basketball sections of the Hall to impress and intrigue your game- watching compatriots at The Green Leafe and JM Randalls! You might even make a new friend whilst watching the games and take him/her TO the Sports Hall. The possibilities are endless during March Madness!

I think the Green Leafe in New Town will be nice with all the new HD TVs.
