Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Williamsburg is... Center Street Grill.

Center Street Grill, which is located in New Town, about half a block from the movie theater, is an excellent restaurant. The restaurant has solved the fundamental difficulty that restaurants face: they are the answer to the non-specific hunger craving.
The non-specific hunger craving, which you may yourself have experienced, occurs when a person feels like eating food, urgently, but doesn't really know what food to eat. Mexican sounds too spicy, Asian sounds too exotic, pancakes sound too much like a breakfast food that, despite Richmond Road's good intentions, should not be eaten for dinner. And so arises a dilemma: the urgent desire for food of an unspecified type. Enter the Center Street Grill. They serve grilled chicken over pasta, or cheesesteak, or steak, and the preparation is expert. They have seafood, and good drinks. The non-specific hunger craving, bane of would-be restaurant goers everywhere, is soundly solved by simply showing up at this restaurant. Whenever I'm with a group of people that can't decide where to eat, I always pipe up and lead the charge to Center Street Grill.
