Polar Plunge 2010 - Experience the Coolest Event of the Year!
Friday, 29 January 2010 00:00

Special_Olympics_Logo

The Polar Plunge® Winter Festival is Special Olympics Virginia's largest fundraiser, attracting more than 10,000 people to an otherwise deserted beachfront in February. Individuals and teams, alongside our athletes and thousands of community members, experience heartwarming and bone chilling extremes as they take the plunge into the icy Atlantic Ocean in the height of winter! Anyone can participate; those under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature.

Other crowd favorites include the Boogie Down the Boardwalk Costume Parade and contest, musical entertainment, a gigantic sand sculpture, as well as vendor displays and giveaways.

Don't just catch any cold this winter...catch this cold! Take the Plunge. Click here for more info.
