Sakura Japanese Restaurant in Virginia Beach - Tasty sushi at the beach

If you're like me and you like sushi then Sakura is a great dining option in Virginia Beach.  It's an all around great sushi experience - fresh sushi (at the beach, kind of what you'd expect), nice atmosphere and creative rolls.  Most sushi restaurants have their staple rolls that everyone enjoys - the spicy tuna, california and rainbow rolls.  Sakura in Virginia Beach features unique rolls like the Chesapeake roll and the Christmas roll (which I love and have never tried anywhere else.) They also have a great Volcano roll which I would also recommend.  They also have a NAVY roll which I've never tried but heard it's popular.  It's just the excuse I need to go back to try it out.  The truth is I don't need an excuse at all.  Sushi is like a comfort food to me so I do have it pretty regularly.  And the place I like to go and highly recommend is Sakura.

If you're looking for a nice sushi joint this is a great place to try in Virginia Beach.  There are a few Sakura locations in Virginia Beach but I most often go to the Shore Drive location.  They do lunch and dinner so if you can't make one you can try another time.
