Wine, Wit, and Wisdom in Williamsburg
So, could you say it three times fast? It is certainly a mouthful but I bet you won't forget it.....
Wine Wit and Wisdom is a great event which takes place at the Williamsburg Lodge on Saturdays at 2 PM.
This is a one-hour exploration of wines, cheeses and how they go together. Hosted by Executive Chef Rhys Lewis and Sommelier Charles Birr, you'll be able to sample excellent wines and artisan cheeses, share some good conversation, and pick up some tips on pairing wine and cheese at your next gathering. Their entertaining anecdotes pair perfectly with the flavors and tastes of the wines, cheeses, and chocolates under discussion.
Here is the upcoming schedule:
September: Italian Wine Revisited •September 26 #904 Southern Italy-That's-a Nice!
October: Southern Hemisphere Visitation •October 3 #1001 The Viticultural Regions of Chile •October 10 #1002 Growing Grapes in a Desert: Argentina •October 17 #1003 An Experience Like No Other: New Zealand •October 24 #1004 South Australia: Brilliant Shiraz and Cabernet •October 31 #1005 South Australia: Whites and Grenache Blends
