Spring It On Camp 2011 at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk
Spend Spring Break at the Virginia Zoo and learn about the wild and wonderful world. It's an exciting adventure for campers 5 to 10 years old. Camp sessions will be held Monday, April 18, Wednesday, April 20 and Friday, April 22. Camp Sessions:Monday, April 18 Out of Sight or Loud and Bright - Some animals are great at blending in or hiding, while others naturally advertise themselves. Join us to meet some of them up close and find out how these different strategies all work so well. Wednesday, April 20 Catch Me If You Can - All animals need food, but some animals don't want to be caught as food. Can you hear those animals say "catch me if you can?" Friday April 22 Ickyology - Do you find snail slime cool? Do you think the "blob fish" awesome? Then you will like finding out about animals that people find icky. Start your adventure into Ickyology and find what's cool about icky.
