Sunday Rituals
Wednesday, 31 December 2008 00:00
watermansright.jpgMy girlfriend and I have a Sunday Ritual:  We go out for dinner and drinks every Sunday night to celebrate the beginning of a new week.  It's typically pretty low key and relaxing but nonetheless, a great way to start the new week off.  It helps to minimize the Monday Morning Blues.

My favorite Sunday Ritual spot is Waterman's Surfside Grille on 5th Street & Atlantic Avenue.  The food is fantastic and the view is phenomenal - it's literally steps away from the Boardwalk.  Happy Hour runs from 3pm - 6pm, so we usually have a few drinks before we order dinner.  If there's an NFL game on then order the ½ price Orange Crush to drink - TRUST ME, you won't be disappointed.  My girlfriend is a huge fan of the crab cakes...swears they're the best on the beach.  Lately I've been ordering the Prime Rib special, it's an enormous cut and just $10 on Sundays!  The last time we went they ran out, so I opted for the traditional Angus Beach Burger...never a disappointing meal.  View the dinner menu here.

This New Year's resolve to create your own Sunday Ritual, but remember to do 2 things:   Start with Waterman's and get there early.
