Time to go shopping
Sunday, 11 January 2009 00:00

Yesterday my parents were in town for a visit.  Mom and I wanted to go shopping so after we dropped the guys (my dad and husband) off at the Green Leafe to watch football, we headed over to the Prime Outlets.  Mom hadn't seen the new addition to the outlets.  Needless to say, she was pretty impressed.  The new stores and layout are really nice.

In any case we had a very pleasant shopping experience yesterday...for many reasons.  Now is THE time to go shopping.  There are really good deals to be had at most of the outlets.  There is still a lot of inventory that didn't move during the holidays so a lot of these stores are offering deep discounts to their already discounted prices.  At one store, my mom received a 75% discount.  She's always seems to find great deals wherever she goes but she was really pleased with herself when she found that one.

Another reason to go shopping now is there aren't any crowds.  It was really empty.  We felt like we had our own private outlet mall.  This was a far cry if you visited any weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

So, with inventory that needs to move, new inventory coming, great prices and good deals to be had and hardly any crowds, NOW is the time to go shopping.  Like we really need any excuse.  Happy Shopping!
