Top 10 Gadgets Gift Guide for 2010
Thursday, 16 December 2010 09:01

Contributed by R.A.Henriquez

Earlier this year we saw the phenomenon that was the iPad. Over the course of 2010, we've also seen the evolution of the iPhone and digital home-movie viewing experience with Blu-Ray and HD everything. But what tops the list of the 100 most sought after gadgets of 2010 that will get you through to the New Year? That is, until upgrades are made in the first few months.

apple_ipadWell, Black Friday shoppers had the right idea to go out and wait in blistering cold conditions to get an over 75% deal on flat screens as the 55-inch LED HDTV is number 1. Particularly, the Samsung 3D that brings the feeling of intimacy right into your living room.

At number 2, everyone's still going bananas for the Apple iPhone. This time, the 4G with sharp, vibrant, Hi-res detailed features. Upgrades include a faster A4 processor, camera with LED flash, longer battery life, HD video recording (the second camera), and more.

Number 3 on your wish list may be a new laptop. America is foaming over the Acer Aspire TimelineX 6-inch laptop. Number 4 is more 4G power with Sprint's HTC EVO Android. With Wi-FI that allows downloading 10 times faster than 3G and other incredible features, Android phones are flying off the shelf.

Number 1 in the spring but now number 5 on the list is the Apple iPad at under $1000. People are still trying to find their way with the Garmin nuvi 1390T GPS navigator at number 6 with traffic and lifetime map updates. At 7...would you believe it's Apple again? Sink your teeth into the extravagance of the Apple iPod touch 32 GB.

Number 8 is actually how I composed this article...and well worth every dollar; the Apple MacBook Pro 15.4-inch laptop. It's faster, longer-lasting, and brighter than ever. AND at a reasonable price. Many are eyeing the number 9 slot, the Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 mega-pixel digital SLR camera. Not everyone can be a David La Chappelle, but with this camera, you can come pretty close.

Finally, if Steve Jobs had a fantasy career he could trade for, it'd probably be Santa. The number 10 spot is, again, an Apple product. The byte-sized Apple iPod nano 16 GB Blue. With half the storage of its big brother and nearly a quarter of the size.

There are many other featured gadgets and trinkets to choose from this holiday season, but the crème de la crème lie above. Happy shopping!
