New Kent Winery will be holding our first-ever Valentine's Day event!

On Tuesday, February 14th, from 10:00am to 7:00pm, New Kent Winery will offer our wine tasting with a special addition: chocolate! We are partnering with Chocolates by Kelly, a local chocolatier based in Richmond, to bring an assortment of gourmet chocolates to the winery. These chocolates have been personally paired with four of our wines to bring out the exquisite flavors of each.

Chocolates by Kelly

As a special treat, Kelly herself will be at the winery, ready to answer any questions about her delicious chocolates, including her family's long tradition of making chocolates and confections. It began with her great, great, great Uncle Al working for Wunderlee's Candy Company, founded in 1871. Her great grandmother was a chocolatier for Wannamaker's Department Store, and her grandmother, Mary, taught Kelly how to work with chocolate when she was 19 years old. Using single-origin chocolate from Venezuela, Chocolates by Kelly offers a perfect companion to our wines.
