Virginia's Best Sunday Brunch - Rose and Crown Restaurant

Sunday Brunch at Rose and Crown

11:00am until 4:00pm

RoseCRMy wife and I were introduced to Rose and Crown Restaurant by my in-laws, who live in New Kent and have been there for dinner on several occasions.  On my mother-in-law's recommendation, we recently took my wife and her family out for Sunday brunch at Rose and Crown.  I have to tell you that they've won my vote for the area's best Sunday brunch experience.

Ambiance: The restaurant setting is very pleasant.  The restaurant gives off a very "gourmet, upscale feel" without feeling overdone and contrived.

Service: The service (for dinner or brunch) is always first-class.  Our server was attentive to our particular preferences, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food they served and the establishment's history.

Food: The food is excellent, particularly for the price.  The Artisan French Toast is phenomenal: Sliced artisan bread, egg & cinnamon dipped, and served with choice of sausage patties (2) or bacon and warm maple syrup, all for just $8.95. View the Rose and Crown Sunday Brunch menu here. Truly a great brunching experience.
