Thursday, 18 November 2010 07:29

GIGrand Illumination Celebration

December 5, 2010, 11:30am - 12:30pm

Location: DeWitt Wallace Museum

Kick off the holiday season and get ready for the fireworks with four of Colonial Williamsburg's finest musicians playing songs and dance tunes spanning three centuries of Virginia musical traditions.

Barry Trott, Brian Forsman, Doug Austin, and Lynn Trott take you on a musical journey from the ballads and country dances of the 18th century, to fiddle tunes of Appalachia, and the early days of bluegrass. With fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, and more, this will be a rousing start to the holidays.

All tickets $10 in addition to museum admission. Call 1-800-HISTORY for tickets and reservations.
