Williamsburg Dining Tip - Experience Thai Cuisine in New Town
Saturday, 13 June 2009 09:01

Pad-Thai

I've always loved Pad Thai - crunchy peanuts complimented by spicy chili peppers. I can't get enough of the lime and the sweet but sour noodles. My favorite is Pad Thai with shrimp or tofu, because it's a lighter, healthier option.

You can find recipes to make Pad Thai and other Thai recipes online.  Thai food often combines sweet, spicy, salty, and sour. Ingredients like fish sauce, Thai rice noodles, and onions can be found at most supermarkets, for some of the ingredients you might need to go to an Asian market.

Lucky for you, there's an incredible Thai restaurant right here in town - Thaipot. Located in the heart of New Town at 5203 Center St., Thaipot offers Pad Thai as well as a variety of different entrees. With over 10 vegetarian choices, specialty dishes, curries, and more Thaipot is a perfect destination for a romantic date, or a family outing. So, get out of the kitchen and prepare your taste buds for a new experience.

Click and print a coupon for a COMPLIMENTARY bowl of Tom Yum Soup or a classic Thai Salad with Peanut Sauce at Thaipot.
